ACTING MAYOR’S MESSAGE
I am looking forward to an exciting year with
many positive happenings in the City of Oneida. The State’s Route 5
sidewalk and resurfacing project will be compete, as will the
Forensic Unit at the State Police Barracks. Our City will be looking
towards the anticipated opening of several businesses to complement
our existing businesses. A proposed housing project will be a shot
of revitalization to the north side, and a proposed housing project
near the Oneida Healthcare Center would provide much needed senior
housing with supportive services.
Oneida’s historic and various neighborhoods
remain the foundation of our City. I
will continue working to improve both the safety and aesthetic
aspects of our good City.
We will continue to invest in our sidewalks to provide a safe
and enjoyable walk-able community for our residents. Investing is
the community is expensive, but necessary for its growth and
continued enjoyment by its residents.
Thank you for visiting our website and please
continue to learn more about the exciting opportunities Oneida has
to offer. Our City Departments work hard to ensure that our
community stays healthy, clean and safe.
If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to call
City Hall at 363-4800; we are here for you!
